Busybee - you're already there. If I happened to have a VuPoint Solutions film scanner I could probably give you some detailed instructions. It doesn't stay on long enough to read it all.

And to top it off I haven't been able to reach vupoint. I've only done a few scans to check out how it works and to see how my 50 year old slides have survived, and I'm fully satisfied. After installing the driver, you need to install software so that you can use that software to scan.

VuPoint - device drivers - My computer recognizes the scanner, but will not allow the viewing or downloading of the slides.

VuPoint solutions have taken down the product from their products listings onso that fs-c1-vp they've ceased support of the device. The only other option you have left is to find an independently-developed driver from some programming geek vupoint I had no luck with that. Mac drivers have never even been listed for that device, so same there. Please download the driver for your device from the below link. But I am not sure whether it will be compatible from Windows 7. If not installing on win 7, then right click on the setup. There select compatibility to windows xp as something similar like below. After installing the driver, you need to install software so that you can use that software to scan. Please download the software from the below location and insatll this as well after installing the driver. I hope this will be useful to you.

If you go this route, be sure other critical hardware used at the same time printer, Wi-Fi card, etc. But I am not sure whether it will be compatible from Windows 7. Any film scanner will have a negative source setting that inverts the image and removes the orange. The software works fine but its only copying a larger image of the negative, not producing a picture. Triple-g, you got the same message I did about connecting Omnivision Supercam, and said you found it on-line.
